Duff house of the Georgian area is closest at 16 miles’ distance but the stunning gardens of Haddo House are not to be missed at only 17 miles’ distance.
Not for the faint hearted is Fyvie Castle located just outside Turriff about 22 miles away. Fyvie Castle was featured on Living TV in season 6 of most haunted and is said to send shivers down your spine!

- Slains Castle: This castle is said to have inspired Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Slains Castle dates back to the 16th century and is now in ruins, but it remains a popular spot for tourists and photographers. The castle is free to visit and is accessible via a coastal walk.
