Cullykhan Beach – 4.8 miles
Amazing caves and rock pools, sheltered by high cliffs and a nice sandy beach great for swimming. On a promontory above the bay lie the remains of the Bronze Age fort (Fort Fiddes).
Difficult to get to, quite a long walk down a path to get to from the car park at the top.

Waters of Philorth – 12.3 miles
Best for its long sandy beach, walking, surfing and windsurfing. There is an area with car parking facilities at the Philorth Local Nature Reserve which is home to a small area of salt marsh and a sandpit and attracts a variety of wildlife including wildfowl and seabirds.

Fraserburgh Beach – 12.8 miles
Best for an endless sandy beach, surfing and windsurfing, sand dunes and the beautiful turquoise sea.
